Our Origins
The natural, organic, and authentic way always.
Keeping and maintaining a natural skin tone has always been my goal. Growing up in Ghana, West Africa, I have always resorted to our local organic shea butter and black soap to care for and maintain my skin. I always sort comfort in using natural shea butter because I knew exactly what it was made of and loved the feel of it on my skin and in my hair.
My love and passion for our Ghanaian tradition, culture, and products birthed the idea of My Organic Shea. What is the best way to share the authentic beauty of my roots? – Made with lots of love with you in mind 😊
Our raw, organic, natural shea butter is purchased directly from women from the Northern parts of Ghana. The idea is to empower such women as we continue to do business with them. We ship the raw shea butter here to the United States where we package them beautifully you see here on our website.
We try our best to be sustainable in all our endeavors. As a result, our goal is to be completely 100% sustainable by the year 2030.
Our products are vegan, cruelty-free, and contain no paraben or sulfate.
